In 1931, Jesus shows himself to Sister Faustina in a vision and requested her: “Paint a picture of mine, that way how you see me…I wish, that this picture is venerated all over the world. I promise to those who venerate this picture, that they are not lost…I will spare and protect the houses, even the cities where this picture is venerated. As long as mankind will find no silence no peace, till she applies trustfully to the mercy of God…”
