Olive Wood Jerusalem Crucifix

An olive wood crucifix with a silver corpus from the Holy Land. The beams of the cross are accented with budded (trefoil) ends which contain soil, flowers, and two kinds of incense from the Holy Land. This is a crucifix that can make present the place where Jesus lived and died and where the Church was born. It is a perfect remembrance from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land or for those unable to make the pilgrimage, brings a piece of that Holy Land home. It is brought from the Holy Land by Mother Adela, Foundress SCTJM, when she returns from the pilgrimages she leads there.
