Saint Maria Goretti Tiny Saint

Maria Goretti was born in Italy in 1890. After her father died, Maria's mother and siblings farmed while Maria tended to the home. When Maria Goretti was only 11 years old, she was attacked by her neighbor, Alessandro. She pleaded more for his soul than her own safety, but died from her wounds a day later. Alessandro repented in prison, attended Maria's canonization in 1950, and prayed to Maria every day until his death.
